Aquarium Renovation A $ 37 million expansion project is underway at Seattle Aquarium that includes restoring the structural integrity of the Aquarium�s historic 100-year-old main pier and moving the entrance to Alaskan Way. A new Puget Sound Great Hall is being built featuring a 120,000 gallon Window on Washington Waters exhibit with a dramatic 20x40 foot viewing window. All regular exhibits are open throughout the renovation but please excuse the construction.The new Aquarium features are scheduled to be open to the public in the spring of 2008. |
