The Skagit River Bald Eagle Nature Preserve is host to the largest congregation of bald eagles in the continental United States - it's the winter feeding ground for over 500 bald eagles that come to feast on our spawning salmon and enjoy the relatively warm weather of the Skagit Valley. Drift quietly by the eagles while enjoying the comfort of our rafts, with hot chocolate served on board. The lower section of the Skagit trip is very calm and the tour is peaceful and relaxing. The birds perch in the cottonwood trees at the river's edge so you'll have great opportunities for close-up views and photographs. You'll be in awe by how close you come as you watch eagles perched in the trees alongside the river or soaring overhead with their magnificent seven-foot wing span! Be sure to bring your binoculars and camera.
An important part of Washington tourism, this event is a favorite of bird enthusiasts and photographers from all over the world.

We launch the boats into the river right from the back of our property. You’ll begin the trip floating down the river, taking in the amazing scenery.
