Our Wenatchee/Methow overnight trips are the perfect way to get a double dose of whitewater action. These are offered on weekends throughout May and June. We meet at 9:00am on Saturday and raft on the Wenatchee River the first day. You have the remainder of the afternoon to tour the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and relax at Lightning Pine RV Park on the Methow River, which features shower facilities, volleyball, and an archery range, along with full RV hook-ups.
The next morning we cook breakfast and begin the next leg of our journey on the Methow River, a very exciting run! After the trip we serve a porkchop BBQ to finish off your day. This is a great 2 day adventure, including four meals and tents (if needed). This overnighter is the perfect way to experience the Cascade Loop! Give us a call or email us for more details. © We begin our adventure on the Wenatchee River, where we tackle the largest waves
in the state! The meeting place for our Wenatchee River trips is Riverfront Park
in the city of Cashmere. Here we'll have a light snack for you and all of your
gear (lifejackets, paddles, wetsuits, booties). After getting suited up, we will
shuttle you to our put-in in Leavenworth where the fun begins. Here your guides
will go over some safety tips for the river and teach you how to paddle.
The river trip itself is about 4 hours of fun rapids and huge waves,
with some calm water in between to catch your breath. When you get off the
river, you can dry off and change into warm clothes as we throw some top sirloin
steaks on the grill for you and cook up some corn and summer salad.
Since you'll be off the river in the early afternoon, you will have the
rest of the evening to explore the surrounding areas. Leavenworth, Wenatchee,
Lake Chelan, and the beautiful Columbia River Gorge are great places to spend
the rest of your day. End up at Lightning Pine RV Park, where you'll have
campsites right along the Methow River.
The next morning, your guides will meet you there at around 9:00am and cook up a hearty breakfast. Then, we will take on the Methow River, which is one of the more exciting runs in the state! Because you already had practice paddling the day before, you'll be ready to hit the huge waves and boat eating holes that make this river famous. Once we are done with our trip, we serve our Famous Porkchop Feast and you can either stay the night again or complete the Cascade Loop Highway.
